A 7 and 7 is a popular type of highball, a mixed alcoholic drink containing Seagram's Seven Crown and 7 Up.[1] It is typically served with ice.
Mixture
Although proportions will change with personal preference, the following is a typical recipe for a 7 and 7:
- Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
- Add 1 imperial fluid ounce (28 ml) whisky.
- Add 9 imperial fluid ounces (260 ml) 7 Up.
- Garnish with lemon wedge (optional).[2]
