Adam Cohen (born c. 1962)[1] is an American journalist, lawyer, and former assistant editorial page editor of The New York Times.[1]
Education
Cohen graduated from Bronx High School of Science. He obtained his degree from Harvard College and later received his law degree from Harvard Law School where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review.[1]
Career
Early in his career, Cohen worked as a public interest lawyer in New York and also for the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama. Cohen was a senior writer for TIME magazine for seven years and is a former member of the New York Times editorial board. He began working for the New York Times in 2002 and his work focused on tech and legal affairs.[2] He currently teaches courses in media and internet law at Yale Law School.[2] He writes a legal column which appears on TIME.com every Monday.[3]
