Abū Muḥammad Aḥmad ibn ʿAlī, known as Ibn Aʿtham al-Kūfī (Arabic: أبو محمد أحمد بن أعثم الكوفي‎‎) (d. AH 314, AD 926-927 A.D) was a Muslim historian. He wrote a book named Kitab al-Futūḥ where he narrated the sermons and words of Ali, the successor of Muhammad.
