Ajdar Anık better known as Ajdar the World Hyper Star (born in Mardin, Turkey on 10 February 1973) is a Turkish mechanical engineer from Turkey who is also a singer and songwriter. He is known for his unorthodox singing style.

He graduated from Trakya University in mechanical engineering and worked in the domain for eight years. He launched a singing career by gaining fame by taking part in the selection rounds for in 2003 and creating controversy with the jury who said he could never be a pop singer. He launched his cheeky pop tune "Alırım Senden Tüm Yetkimi". His music video "Çikita Çikita" became one of the most-watched music videos in Turkey. Following that, he appeared in a series of shows on national Turkish television stations as a light pop singer creating frequent confrontations with his controversial discourse with talk show hosts and program guests. Dubbed as Turkey's "hiperstar",[1] his known songs include "Nane Nane", "Tu Tu Tu Tu Tut Tut Tuğba", "Deca Ender İnsan", "Şakşuka Tiyatrosu", "Kon Kon", "Sıfır Beden", "Turup Gibiyim", "Hişt Hişt Hülya", "Çitori Çitori", "Çatla Patla", "Sıfır". Ajdar had a comeback in 2012 with the song "Şahdamarım".[2][3]
