The Voice of Georgia (Georgian: ხმა, literally: Voice) is a reality television show and singing competition broadcast from Georgia. It is part of the international syndication The Voice based on the reality singing competition The Voice of Holland, launched in the Netherlands, created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. Its first season kicked off on October 4, 2012 and finished on January 13, 2013.[2][3]

One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Five coaches, themselves popular performing artists, composers and producers, train talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner.[4]

The winner of first season was Salome Katamadze with 48.6% of the votes. She was awarded by the show's sponsor, Geocell, a trip to Los Angeles, California to record single at Universal Music Studio. She was also provided with a flat in Digomi Palace Complex by Archi Group located in Tbilisi.[5][6][7]

3 days after the end of first season, in April 2013 The Voice Kids of Georgia began.[5]

It was announced that auditions for The Voice of Georgia Season 3 begin in Summer 2015

Season 1 (2012–2013)

The first season of The Voice of Georgia kicked off on October 4, 2012. The show was hosted by Duta Skhirtladze and Anna Imedashvili. There were 6 episodes of Blind Auditions, 4 episodes of Battles and 6 Live Shows!
