Alejandro Andrés Contreras Daza (born 3 March 1993 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean footballer who currently plays as a defender for the Chilean Primera División club Palestino, and is also a member of the Chile national under-20 football team team. He is part of the squad that qualified in the South American U-20 Championship Argentina 2013 to gain a place in the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Contreras began his career playing for the Palestino junior team and was part of the squad that won the 2012 Under 20 national championship He made his debut in the Chilean Primera División on 31 March 2013 scoring against Deportes Antofagasta in an official match for the Torneo Clausura de Chile national championship.

National team

Contreras was selected to play for the Chile national under-20 football team in the South American Youth Championship on 3 January 2013 by team manager Arturo Salas. Success in this tournament took Contreras and the team to the Turkey 2013 under-20 world championship.
