Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Professor Alfred P. Smyth is a historian specialising in the mediaeval history of the British Isles. He was (from 2002) Dean of Arts and Humanities at Canterbury Christ Church University College, having been (from 1999) Director of Research there. He was also Warden of St. George's House, Windsor Castle. Earlier, he was Professor of Mediaeval History at the University of Kent, when he was Master of Keynes College.[1]
