Alistair Browning is a New Zealand actor who played the role of Damrod, a soldier of Faramir’s Rangers, in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. He won Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film at the 2001 New Zealand Film and Television Awards for his role in Rain.[1] Browning regularly appeared in live professional theatre in New Zealand.
