Alexandra Jean Theresa "Allie" DiMeco (born June 12, 1992)[1] is an American actress and multi-instrumentalist primarily known for playing the role of Nat Wolff's main love interest Rosalina in the musical comedy series The Naked Brothers Band.[2]

Early life and career

Allie Dimeco played piano, bass guitar and cello in the Nickelodeon series The Naked Brothers Band.[3] She also starred in The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie.[2] She can play instruments including the bass guitar, cello, drums, and the violin.[citation needed] She is the daughter of Laura Dimeco. Her father died when she was only five.

Allie started acting at the age of five.[4] Other acting credits include the Late Show with David Letterman, One Life to Live, Saturday Night Live, The King and I (National Tour) as Princess Ying Yawolak.[5] She was nominated for a Young Artist Award for 2008 for her work in the Naked Brothers Band ensemble cast.[6] She also recently appeared in an ad that was part of LG's mobile harassment campaign, "Give it a Ponder."

In 2008, she was involved in a brief controversy when several pictures of herself and her friends making racy poses in bikinis and lingerie were leaked onto the internet, due to her Myspace account being hacked as part of a larger security breach on the website. Dimeco was 15 at the time.[7]

She is currently living in Miami, Florida. After previously attending school in Connecticut (Holy Cross High School) she studied privately with tutors, while taking some classes at a college. She is a graduate from Florida International University and was a member of Phi Sigma Sigma.
