András Gosztonyi (born 7 November 1990 in Kaposvár) is a Hungarian football player who plays for Szombathelyi Haladás.

Career

He spent a week at Newcastle United F.C. on trial. Joe Kinnear claimed he would have a massive future at Newcastle should his trial work out. The trial never worked out and Gosztonyi returned to his club. On 1 February 2010, the midfielder has been signed by AS Bari until the conclusion of the 2009–2010 Serie A campaign. He transferred to the Italian club from MTK Budapest. The spring season twice took the team back on track in Bari (against Siena in the 3-2 away loss of Meeting 77th minute and Juventus suffered a 3–0 defeat, and the occasion of the 71st minute of the match).

International career

His original position is Striker, but he plays Midfielder at the U-19 National team of Hungary. The Hungarian offensive midfielder is member of the Hungary under-21 national team.
