The 2016 United States House of Representatives elections in Minnesota will be held on November 8, 2016, to elect the eight U.S. Representatives from the state of Minnesota, one from each of the state's eight congressional districts. The elections will coincide with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, as well as other elections to the House of Representatives, elections to the United States Senate and various state and local elections. The primaries will be held on August 9.

Democrat Tim Walz of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party represents Minnesota's first congressional district. Days after Walz was re-elected in the 2014 elections, Tony Cornish, a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, indicated that he would run against Walz in the 2016 election. Cornish indicated that the Republican primary became too crowded in 2014 for him to enter the race.[1] Cook PVI is R-1.

District 2

Republican John Kline represents Minnesota's second district. Kline announced that he will not run for reelection.[2]

Engineer David Gerson, who ran against Kline in the 2012 and 2014 Republican primaries, has filed to run again.[3] Democrat Angela Craig, who served as vice president of global human resources for St. Jude Medical, resigned her position in January 2015 to challenge Kline.[4] Mary Lawrence, a doctor, will also run as a Democrat.[5]
