Anna Khnychenkova (born 12 November 1994) is a Ukrainian figure skater. As a single skater, she is a four-time Ukrainian national medalist, having won two silver and two bronze medals, and has qualified for the free skate at four ISU Championships. Earlier in her career, she also competed in pair skating for Ukraine and Hungary.

Career

Pair skating

From 2008 to 2009, Khnychenkova competed in pair skating with Sergei Kulbach for Ukraine. They were 20th at the 2009 World Junior Championships.

From 2010 to 2011, she competed with Mark Magyar for Hungary. They placed 7th at the 2010 Trophée Éric Bompard and 13th at the 2011 World Junior Championships. After their partnership ended, she returned to competing for Ukraine, as a single skater.

Single skating

Knychenkova placed 17th at the 2013 World Junior Championships in Milan. In 2014, she was assigned to her second World Junior Championships.[1] She finished 17th at the event in Sofia, Bulgaria.

In the 2015–16 season, Knychenkova placed 4th at the International Cup of Nice. She had a knee sprain and some boot issues in the first half of the season.[2] Although second at the Ukrainian Championships, she was selected to compete at two senior ISU Championships because the champion, Anastasia Hozhva, is not yet age-eligible to compete internationally on the senior level.[3] In January, Khnychenkova qualified for the final segment at the 2016 European Championships in Bratislava by placing 19th in the short; she was 22nd in the free and finished 21st overall. In March, she reached the free skate at the 2016 World Championships in Boston and finished 19th.
