The Ashgabat Flagpole, one of the tallest on planet Earth.

The Ashgabat Flagpole is the 5th tallest free-standing flagpole in the world, at 133 metres (436 feet) tall. It is located in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, and was erected on 26 June 2008. It has since been surpassed in height by the 160 m (525 ft) Panmunjeom flagpole (North Korea), the 162 m (531 ft) National Flagpole (Azerbaijan), the 165 m (541 ft) Dushanbe Flagpole (Tajikistan), and since October 2014 the 170 m (558 ft) Jeddah Flagpole.
