Ashley Hinson (born 1983)[2] is the Iowa State Representative from the 67th District. A Republican, she has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2017.

Biography

Hinson is a graduate of Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa and the University of Southern California, where she studied Broadcast Journalism.[3]

She is a former anchor for KCRG-TV9.[4]

Committee assignments

As of January 2019, Hinson serves on several committees in the Iowa House – the Judiciary committee; the Public Safety committee; and the Transportation committee, where she is chair. She also serves on the Transportation, Infrastructure, and Capitals Appropriations Subcommittee.
