Similarly, the Darlington 1883 and F.C. Argeș 1953 identities stem from the year that now-defunct predecessor clubs Darlington F.C. and FC Argeș Pitești were constituted.
FC Dordrecht has previously been named Drechtsteden'79 (DS'79) and Dordrecht'90 in their history.
