The song was released as a Brunswick Records 78 single in 1931 by Bing Crosby. The recording reached no. 1 on the pop singles charts for three weeks in the U.S., with a chart run of nine weeks.[1] The song was published by Robbins Music Corporation in New York.

Bing Crosby sang "At Your Command" in the 1931 Mack Sennett two-reeler movie short I Surrender Dear.[2]
