Băseşti (Hungarian: Szilágyillésfalva) is a commune in Maramureş County, northern Romania. It is composed of four villages: Băseşti, Odeşti (Vadafalva), Sălişte (Kecskésfalva) and Stremţ (Bükktótfalu).
