B-segment

B-segment is a small car classification defined by the European Commission as being larger than mini-cars in the A-segment and smaller than medium cars in the C-segment.[1]
Typical B-segment cars include the Volkswagen Polo, Ford Fiesta, Fiat Punto and Renault Clio.
Others segments include:
- A-segment: mini cars
- C-segment: medium cars
- D-segment: large cars
- E-segment: executive cars
- F-segment: luxury cars
- J-segment: sport utility cars (including off-road vehicles)
- M-segment: multi purpose cars
- S-segment: sport coupes
