Bana Tchanilé is a former football coach, he has been in charge of the Togo national football team on at least two occasions, in 2000 and in 2004.
In July 2010, he took a 'fake' Togolese U23 team to Egypt to play a friendly tournament without permission and was banned for two years. The same year, in September he took a 'fake' Togo national football team to Bahrain.[1]
He is the older brother of Tchakala Tchanilé.
