Belgium was represented by Frédéric Etherlinck, with the song '"La voix est libre", at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Dublin on 13 May. Etherlinck was the winner of the Belgian national final for the contest, held in Brussels on 12 March.

Final

French-language broadcaster RTBF was in charge of the selection of the Belgian entry for the 1995 Contest. The national final was held in Studio 6 of RTBF, hosted by Thierry Luthers. Ten songs competed to become that year's Belgian entrant, voted on by regional juries in Brussels and the five Francophone provinces of Belgium, alongside a professional jury. In a closely fought contest with no song dominating, Etherlinck emerged the winner by a 6-point margin, having received the highest overall score from the regional juries but placing only fourth with the professional jury.[1]
