119/122 Street is a major arterial road in south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It undergoes a number of name changes through its length.

Overview

127 Street SW

127 Street used to be rural grid road Range Road 250 south of Edmonton. When the city was numbering its streets, it was found that this road laid south of Quadrant (1) Avenue, and so the city adopted a quadrant system, naming it 127 Street SW. It is now under reconstruction as neighbourhoods approach it. The University of Alberta farm, to the west, is the expected location of the LRT south extension towards the Edmonton International Airport. The north extent currently ends at Anthony Henday Drive with a mandatory eastbound enter and exit. Plans are in the works for the street to cross over and meet 119 Street NW and Anthony Henday Drive westbound.

119 Street

119 Street currently begins at Anthony Henday Drive with a mandatory westbound enter and exit. Plans are in the works for the street to cross over and meet 127 Street SW and Anthony Henday Drive eastbound. It then continues 1.7 kilometres (1.1 mi) to Blackmud Creek where it currently ends, plans are in the works for a bridge to cross and meet up with 119 Street again at 23 Avenue. After passing Derrick Golf and Winter Club, 119 Street meets Whitemud Drive and changes name to 122 Street.

122 Street

122 Street begins at Whitemud Drive, changing names from 119 Street. It passes through the University of Alberta's growing South Campus, and ends at Fox Drive when it becomes Belgravia Road.

Belgravia Road is an arterial road in south-central Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is heavily used by persons travelling from areas in west and south-west Edmonton, to destinations in central Edmonton, including: the University of Alberta, Old Strathcona, and the downtown core. Belgravia road begins at Fox Drive, where the name changes from 122 Street, then travels northeast. The Belgravia Bridge, a dedicated busway connecting the South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park Transit Centre to Fox Drive westbound, crosses Belgravia Road north of Fox Drive. When Belgravia Road turns east, it runs parallel to, and on the south side of, 71 Avenue (though Belgravia Road's official eastern end is at 116 Street, where the arterial leg of 71 Avenue begins). The new south extension of Edmonton's Light Rail Transit system passes under Belgravia Road, just west of 114 Street. Belgravia Road ends at 113/114 Street when it becomes 72 Avenue.
