Boniface de Castellane (1758-1837)

Boniface Louis André, Marquis de Castellane (4 August 1758 – 21 February 1837), better known as Boniface de Castellane-Nojean, was a French general and politician of the Revolution and the Empire. He was a member of the nobility of the bailiwick of Châteauneuf-en-Thymerais at the Estates General of 1789. Freemason, he was a member of the Parisian lodge "La Candeur", founded on October 22, 1775.
