Boogeymen: The Killer Compilation is a horror compilation video released in 2001 by FlixMix. Marketed as "The Killer Compilation," the film consists of seventeen scenes from notable, revolutionary horror titles, along with short screens describing the apropos villain.

Flix Facts
On the DVD, it was an option to turn on Flix Facts. That offered trivia for all of the horror clips. These were the facts:
Hellraiser
1. Hellraiser is director Clive Barker's feature film debut.
2. It is based on his novel, The Hellbound Heart.
3. Hellraiser reportedly cost $1 million to make.
4. The film's original titles was Sadomasochists From Beyond The Grave.
5. The female demon is played by Clive Barker's cousin.
6. Doug Bradley, who plays Pinhead, was Barker's high school friend in England.
7. It took nearly six hours each day to do Pinhead's makeup.
8. The film had to be cut 20 seconds to get an R rating.
9. Some hammer blows and blood sucking were removed.
10. Actor Andrew Robinson improvised the last line in the scene.
A Nightmare on Elm Street
1. The Nightmare series has grossed $225 million in the US over seven films.
2. Director Wes Craven is said to have conceived Nightmare while sitting in a restaurant.
3. He had recently read articles about people dying in their sleep from nightmares.
4. Craven based Freddy on a disfigured hobo that terrified him as a youth.
5. He claims to have named the character after a kid who bullied him in school.
6. Robert Englund (Freddy) is the only actor to have appeared in all seven of the "Nightmare" films.
7. The original A Nightmare on Elm Street was actor Johnny Depp's first feature film.
8. The movie was banned in Finland and censored in Germany.

Wishmaster
1. Wishmaster was a sleeper success in 1997 that spawned three sequels.

The Texas chain saw massacre
1. Rejected titles for the movie included Leatheface and Headcheese.
2. Director Tobe Hooper went on to direct Poltergiest and other horror classics.
3. The brand of Leatherface's chainsaw was covered with tape to avoid lawsuits...
4. ...To date, no one is sure what brand was used - a Poulan, Stihl or McCulloch.
5. Gunnar Hansen, who played Leatherface is now a writer and documentary filmmaker.
6. He reprised the role in the 1988 film Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers.
7. Tobe Hooper originally wanted a "PG" rating for this film. He didn't get it.
8. The movie was even banned in the United Kingdom after its release.
9. Actress Marilyn Burns cut herself filming this scene and some of the blood is real.
Scream
1. The Scream series grossed almost $300 million in North America over three movies.
2. Writer Kevin Williamson also wrote I Know What You Did Last Summer...
3. ... and created the popular TV show Dawson's Creek.
4. Drew Barrymore turned down the role played by Neve Campbell.
5. It took Neve Campbell over an hour to wash off all the fake blood after shooting.
6. She then had to report to the set of her TV series at the time, "Party of Five".
7. Director Wes Craven also directed such horror favorites as The Hills Have Eyes, The Serpent and the Rainbow, and A Nightmare on Elm Street.
8. He Has a cameo in Scream as the high school janitor wearing Freddy Krueger's trademark outfit.
9. Ghostface's mask was inspired by the Scream, a painting by artist Edvard Munch.
10. Craven found the store-bought mask while location-scouting in California.

Leprechaun
1. Leprechaun was the directorial debut of writer/director Mark Jones.
2. Jones went on to direct another fairy tale horror story, "Rumpelstiltskin".
3. A favorite with cult movie fans, Leprechaun spawned a Popular comic book.
4. Warwick Davis plays the demonic Leprechaun, He later played a friendly leprechaun in a children's film.
5. He also played the Ewok "Wicket" in Return of the Jedi.
6. It took 3 hours a day to apply the Leprechaun prosthetics and makeup.
7. John Volstad, the Shop Owner, was one of the Darryls on The Bob Newhart Show.
Child's Play 2
1. There have been four Chucky movies and a fifth is in development.
2. The original title of Child's Play was Blood Buddy.
3. Chucky was design by Kevin Yagher, Yagher also created "The Crypt Keeper" from Tales from the Crypt.
4. He later married Catherine Hicks, who played Andy's mother in Child's Play.
5. Chucky's design was a combination of the Cabbage Patch Kids and My Buddy dolls.
6. Actor Brad Dourif is the voice of Chucky, He received an Oscar nomination for his role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
7. Chucky is a nickname for Charles Lee Ray, the killer who possessed him.
8. The name "Charles Lee Ray" comes from three real life killers: Charles Manson, Lee Harvey Oswald, James Earl Ray.
9. Eight puppeteers were used to operate Chucky.
Candyman
1. Candyman was based on director Clive Barker's short story "The Forbidden".
2. The film's setting was originally Liverpool, England, where Barker was born.
3. The location was moved to the Chicago housing project, the Cabrini Greens.
4. Star Virginia Madsen grew up in the Chicago area near the film's location.
5. Actor Tony Todd based his portrayal of Candyman on two other tragic figures: the Phantom of the Opera and the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
6. Todd had a role in all three modern-era Star Trek series.
7. He also appeared in Wishmaster and the 1990 remake of Night of the living Dead.
Critical reception
AllMovie gave the documentary a negative review, writing, "Boogeymen [...] [reduces] a mystifyingly broad range of films into the lowest common denominator of trading cards and role playing."[1]
Sequel
In 2002, FlixMix released a DVD entitled, Ultimate Fights. It featured the most intense fights ever to appear in the movies. There was supposed to be another FlixMix title that was never released, which was called Crack Me Up. It was planned to feature the funniest clips from the most recent blockbusters. In 2012, it is announced that a second Boogeymen compilation will be premiered on YouTube, which will feature 17 new horror villains like, Hannibal Lecter, Pennywise the clown and the Jigsaw Killer from Saw.
Trivia
Gunther from the movie The Funhouse was meant to appear in the Boogeymen: The Killer Compilation, but he didn't appear in the list. However, there were commercials of him as one of the Boogeymen.
On the cover of the DVD and poster, the picture of Jason Voorhees is from Friday the 13th Part III, while the scene featured in the compilation is from Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday.
Child's Play 2 and Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday are the only sequels to appear in the compilation.
