Brady Austin (born June 16, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). Austin was selected in the seventh round (193th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Sabres.

Playing career

Amateur

Austin played major junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) from 2009–10 to 2013–14, collecting 29 goals and 81 assists for 110 points in 322 games.

Professional

On May 29, 2014, the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League signed Austin to a three-year entry level contract.[1] After attending the Sabres training camp, Austin was re-assigned to AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans, to begin his professional career in the 2014–15 season.
