Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Brunswick Silk Works, Inc., was a Manhattan, New York company which became insolvent in 1930. It was based at 455 Seventh Avenue (Manhattan) and was an important component in the growing Silk Centre of New York City.

In February 1926 the firm leased the sixth floor of an office building at 181 - 183 Madison Avenue (Manhattan).[1] James F. O'melia, a hotel operator and manufacturer, was a part owner of the business.[2] When it became bankrupt in January 1930, the Irving Trust Company was appointed receiver by a judge. The assets of Brunswick Silk Works, Inc., amounted to $31,000, with liabilities totaling approximately $125,000, at the time of its failure.[3]
