Caeleb Dressel (born August 16, 1996) is an American freestyle swimmer who specializes in the sprint events.

At the 2013 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Dubai, Dressel won six medals, including a gold medal in the 100 meter freestyle, breaking the Championships record. During his freshman year at the University of Florida, he won the 2015 NCAA title in the 50 yard freestyle.[2] At the senior 2015 National Championships (long course) in San Antonio, he won two individual titles, in the 50 meter and the 100 meter freestyle.[3][4] His winning time of 21.53 in the 50 meter freestyle ranked 4th in the world for 2015.[2][5][6]

At the 2016 Men's NCAA Division I Championships, he broke the American and US Open records in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 18.20[7] and the 100-yard freestyle with 40.46.[8]
