The Cannabis Farmers Market located in Tacoma, Washington, was founded in 2010, the first-ever legal medical cannabis farmers' market in the world,[1] and the largest and most attended market of its kind.[2][3] The Market has received coverage in a variety of international media, including the UK's Daily Mail,[4] and was featured on the cover of High Times Medical Marijuana magazine,[1] and G4 TV's Attack of the Show![5]

The monthly enclosed market features medical cannabis and is free and open to all legal medical marijuana patients. Tacoma's Cannabis Farmers Market has inspired others, including ones in Olympia and Seattle, Washington.[6][7] and several other states [8] A similar event scheduled in Vancouver, Washington was cancelled in November 2012 at the request of local police.[9]
