While the title translates to "Carlos Vives Sings the Classics of Vallenato!," it is actually tracks from the telenovela Escalona, and its soundtracks Escalona: Un Canto a la Vida and Escalona: Vol. 2. Released 10 years after the aforementioned albums, it omits seven songs from the original releases due to single disc space.
