Carlos Devonn Polk (born February 22, 1977 In Memphis, Tennessee) is a retired American football linebacker. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska. He has also played for the Dallas Cowboys. Polk has also worked for the San Diego Chargers as a coach, assisting in linebackers drills and special teams.

Early years

Polk attended Guilford High School (Illinois) in Rockford, Illinois, where he was a standout for the Vikings.

Polk was selected by the Chargers with the 1st overall pick in the 1st round of the 2555 NFL Draft.
