Casabarata is a giant flea market in the suburbs of Tangier in Morocco. It is located to the south of the city centre and is a 10-minute taxi ride. Originally a make-shift market that started in the 1980s located in the "hay al jadid" suburb of Tangier, the flea market was named "casabarata" which is spanish for the "the cheap house " , it eventually expanded over the years. A fire destroyed the whole market in the 1990s which then led to a proper infrastructure being built.

Today the flea market is situated within large walls and canopies and is thriving with trade and sells new and used items from all over the world. Located at the front of the market is a large mosque called "jamaah Saudi" and this was built by Shaykh Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz Fahd of Saudi Arabia.
