This category comprises people who are Christian Scientists. Christian Scientists are students of Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science and author of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Some students may be members of the church that she founded in Boston, Massachusetts, The First Church of Christ, Scientist. Others may be members of the more than 1000 branch churches of that organization. Some may be members of both The First Church of Christ, Scientist and of a branch church. Other Christian Scientists may not be members of any church but may study the writings of Mary Baker Eddy or other Christian Scientists.
