This category contains articles related to the native flora of South America.

The WGSRPD defines Southern America differently from the usual geographical definition of South America. Central America and the Caribbean are included in the botanical continent of Southern America.
  • Native taxa of the lowest rank are included if they occur widely in the botanical continent, otherwise they should be included in the flora of one or more of the constituent regions. Higher taxa are included only if endemic.
