Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Category main article' not found. Sesshō and Kampaku, often referred to together as "Sekkan," were Japanese regency positions. The Sessho was regent during the reign of a child Emperor, and would become Kampaku when he became regent during the reign of the adult Emperor. Both of these positions are strongly associated with the Fujiwara clan, who held the regency for centuries.
