Central Intelligence is an upcoming American action comedy film directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and written by Thurber, Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen. The film stars Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, alongside Amy Ryan, Aaron Paul, Danielle Nicolet and Timothy John Smith, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 17, 2016.

The film follows Bob Stone (Johnson), an overweight geek who was bullied in high school but grew up to be an extremely lethal CIA agent, who takes his old friend from high school, Calvin (Hart), on an adventure to save the world.

Premise

Bob Stone (Dwayne Johnson), a one-time bullied overweight geek who grew up to be a lethal CIA agent, comes home for his high school reunion. Claiming to be on a top-secret case, he enlists the help of the former "big man on campus" Calvin Joyner (Kevin Hart), now an accountant who misses his glory days. The two enter a world of shoot-outs, double-crosses, and espionage that could get them both killed.
