City of London Investment Trust (LSE: CTY) is a large British investment trust dedicated to investments in UK equities. Established in 1891, the company is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index. The Chairman is Philip Remnant, and the manager Job Curtis.
It has raised its dividend for 45 years in a row, a UK record, something it does with the aid of a cash reserve designed to support the yield in times of recession.
The fund is managed by Henderson Global Investors.
