Classics of International Law

The Classics of International Law is an English-language book series with a total of twenty-two volumes published by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace from 1911 to 1950. It contains classic works from the history and development of international law. The principal editor of the series was James Brown Scott, who was also involved in the founding of the Permanent Court of International Justice and the Hague Academy. The twenty-two volumes of the series are distributed over a total of forty books.
