CollegeAmerica is a private, non-profit college in the United States offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The college is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. It was founded as the training division of Control Data Corporation.

Campus locations

Main and branch campuses offer a wide variety of programs and courses. CollegeAmerica has seven main and branch campus locations: Cheyenne, WY; Colorado Springs, CO; Denver, CO; Fort Collins, CO; Idaho Falls, ID; Flagstaff, AZ; and Phoenix, AZ.

Academics

CollegeAmerica offers Associates, Bachelors, and Masters degrees in a variety of programs, including healthcare, business, information technology, and graphic arts. The college offers a total of 41 degree programs: 9 Associates degrees, 25 Bachelors degrees, and 7 Masters degrees. There are a total of 15 healthcare degrees, 13 business degrees, 9 information technology degrees, and 4 graphic arts degrees.

Controversy

In 2015, the state of Colorado sued CollegeAmerica, accusing the institution of "misleading students with distorted promises of high-paying careers and saddling students with loans they're unable to pay."[1]
