James Allen (1802–1854) was an American politician. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates 1839–40, 1847–49, and 1852–54, representing Hampshire County, which is now in West Virginia.[1] The area of Hampshire County in which he lived became Mineral County, West Virginia after his death.
