Cotton Industry (Reorganisation) Act 1936

The Cotton Industry (Reorganisation) Act 1936 was an Act of Parliament in the United Kingdom which introduced a compulsory levy on cotton machinery. The proceeds from this levy were used to scrap surplus spindles.[1]
