D. F. Lewis

D. F. Lewis (born in 1948, Walton-on-Naze, Essex) is an English author who had over one thousand short fictions published in print from 1986 to 2000, some in hard-to-find outlets, others in literary journals such as Stand, Iron, Orbis, Panurge and London Magazine. Others have appeared in mainstream and horror story anthologies.

From 2001 until 2010, he was editor and publisher of the experimental Nemonymous "megazanthus" of short fiction.

In 2008, he started Gestalt Real-Time Reviewing of fiction books.

His first novel, 'Nemonymous Night', was published in 2011 when he was 63.

He gained a degree from Lancaster University 1966-69. Having been married since 1970, he has two children and followed a career in office work in the Croydon area and then in the Clacton-on-Sea area where he still lives in retiral. His creative writing 'career' still wavers as an all-consuming hobby while also seeming to make a name for himself in the Weird Fiction and Experimental Literature fields. He enjoys listening to Classical Music.

Literary awards

1998 - Winner of the British Fantasy Society Karl Edward Wagner Award, plus five other nominations for BFS awards including two for 'Gestalt Real-Time Reviewing' in 2014 and 2015.
