Damon Horowitz

Damon Horowitz is a philosophy professor at Columbia University and serial entrepreneur.

Horowitz earned a BA from Columbia University, a Master's from the MIT Media Lab, and studied computer science at Stanford University.[1] He began his career in technology, later returning to Stanford to earn a PhD in philosophy.[2] He was a co-founder of the search engine Aardvark, Perspecta, and Novation Biosciences.[3] He was also In-House Philosopher/Director of Engineering at Google.[4]

Horowitz currently teaches philosophy at Columbia University.
