Daniel Pickering (born August 16, 1974) is a British TV/film producer, visual FX artist and animator, born in Whipps Cross, London, England.

Biography

Daniel is a polymath & has an academic background in both electronic engineering & computer animation, he worked in special/visual FX as CGI consultant to Oscar-winning Brian Johnson (special effects artist) (Alien and The Empire Strikes Back)[1]
In May 2007, Daniel was the main founder of the vfx/animation and production company Annix Ltd, based in Pinewood Studios, England.[2][3]

He most notably created the Cbeebies show "Little Charley Bear" narrated by James Corden,[2] and the animated short film "Scragg 'n' Bones".[4][5]

In 2012 he was nominated for a Broadcast award.[6]

As of 2013 Daniel left Annix to pursue executive producing live action feature films,[7]
He recently executive produced the UK zombie comedy movie Stalled & the UK drama "Chicken" and is developing a live action feature film based on his childhood idol & is also executive producing Gerry Anderson's last 3D CGI animated feature film.

As of 2014 Daniel is executive producing a biopic based on Noël Coward, starring Chris Colfer, Ian McKellen, Vanessa Redgrave & Jonathan Pryce. [8] He Is also Exec Producing Clive Barker's new film.

As of 2015 Daniel is in talks to start a new Animation Studio, creating high end 3D films & interactive content
