Dave Gantz

David Gantz (December 6, 1922 – December 14, 2007)[1] was an American artist and sculptor who wrote children's books and worked as a newspaper cartoonist.

Gantz penciled and inked comic books in the 1940s and 1950s, often working for Timely Comics.

He received the National Cartoonist Society Newspaper Panel Cartoon Award in 1997 for Gantz Glances.

In retirement, Gantz wrote and drew The History of Jews in America, and devoted much of his time to sculpture.
