David McGowan was an investigative journalist, internet activist, truther, conspirophile, and an author with a focus on deep politics.[1] He is known for digging up unusual information and for his humorous style. He died from sudden onset lung cancer, November 22, 2015.

David McGowan was a 9/11 skeptic who coined the term "The Pedophocracy", a studied skeptic of the Apollo moon landings, of MK ULTRA, of the lineage and connections of the rock stars of Laurel Canyon and of the cultural engineering of the late 1960's. He did original research on the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and other political murders, fascism, and the Boston Marathon bombing staged event.[citation needed]
