Dawes baronets

The Dawes Baronetcy, of Putney in the County of Surrey, was a title in the Baronetage of England. It was created on 1 June 1663 for the nineteen-year-old John Dawes. His third son, William, the third Baronet, was Archbishop of York from 1714 to 1724. The title became extinct on the early death of the latter's grandson, the fifth Baronet, in 1741.
