Dean railway station is a small railway station near the village of West Dean in Wiltshire (near to the Hampshire/Wiltshire border), England.

The station itself is on the Wessex Main Line 9 miles (14 km) south east of Salisbury.

Service

South West Trains operate a regular service between Salisbury and Romsey via Southampton Central. This runs hourly during the week, with a two-hourly service on Sundays, and uses 2-car Class 158 units. As a result of this the number of Great Western Railway services between Portsmouth Harbour and Cardiff that stop at Dean was reduced. As of October 2011, there are no Great Western Railway trains stopping at Dean, although the station is still managed by the company.[1]
