Delta Technical College (Delta Tech), founded in 2004, is a privately owned career college in Horn Lake, Mississippi, United States.[1][2]
Delta Technical College is a branch campus of Midwest Technical Institute, Based in Springfield, IL.
Delta Technical College provides students opportunities for learning and personal growth. Delta Tech strives to be a leader in promoting student learning and achievement in a variety of careers and trades. Delta Tech's mission is to offer workforce training, and to provide graduates with the skills necessary to gain entry level employment in their chosen field.
It offers programs in Medical Assisting, HVAC, Major Appliance Repair, Elecrrician, Medical Coding, Welding, Commercial Truck Driving, Cosmetology, and Dental Assisting.
Delta Technical College is regulated and licensed to operate by the Mississippi Commission on Proprietary School and College Registration and License #C-624.
In 2008 former president Rod Rumler resigned from the school.[3]
In 2011 Delta Technical College opened an additional branch campus in Ridgeland, MS. It offers programs identical to that of the Horn Lake Campus.
