Information

In the late 1980s, Bennie was the Chairman and CEO at Carolian Systems International, which was a firm that made business software for Hewlett-Packard. He arranged for an initial seed investment in 1988 of $1.5 million CAD into funding development of what would become the core computerized forms product, PerForm. This would go on to be the flagship product that would establish Delrina. He continued as CEO of Delrina to grow company and list on Nasdaq before orchestrating the sale to Symantec in November 1995. For one year he served as a Vice President and board member. In addition to Delrina, Bennie also played a major role in founding two other notable technology-related businesses: Ingram Micro and Mission Electronics.[citation needed]
