Diamonds is an instrumental written by Jerry Lordan. It was a No. 1 hit in the UK Singles Chart for Jet Harris and Tony Meehan.[3] The guitar used on the record by Jet Harris was a Fender Jaguar.[4] It spent three weeks at the top of the UK chart.[5]

The recording featured Jimmy Page on acoustic rhythm guitar.[citation needed]

The Shadows did a cover version of "Diamonds" in 1983, without former band members, Jet Harris and Tony Meehan.
