Don't Mind If I Do is the fifth album by the British new wave band Culture Club, released in 1999 for the Virgin label. The album has been released only in Europe and Japan. Some promo copies also circulated in Australia.[citation needed]

Overview

Don't Mind If I Do was Culture Club's first album of new material in 13 years, after the break-up of the band in 1986 and subsequent reformation in 1998. However, despite heavy promotion and numerous favourable reviews, the album was a commercial failure, only peaking at No.64 in the UK Albums Chart. The album contains one UK Top 10 single, "I Just Wanna Be Loved", which was actually released almost a year earlier, and was originally included on the Greatest Moments - VH1 Storytellers Live compilation (though the single version did not in fact feature on any album). The second single "Your Kisses Are Charity" reached the Top 25, while the third single "Cold Shoulder"/"Starman" peaked outside the Top 40, stalling at Number 43. Also included on this single was a re-recorded version of "Your Kisses Are Charity" with Dolly Parton.

The music on the album is an amalgam of the classic Culture Club reggae-flavoured pop with rock, soul, and dance influences, and including a couple of ballads.
